Examples of Criteria

Like "????" - Must have 4 characters
Like "##" - Must have 2 numbers

Like Br* - Text starts with Br (Brenda, Brown)
Like Ric? - 4 letter words starting with Ric, (Rice, Rick)

Between 10 and 20 - Must be between #s
Is Not Null - Must contain data in field

In (100,101) - Find the numbers 100 and 101
In (#1/5/97#, #1/6/97#) - Finds the dates 5-Jan-97 & 6-Jan-97

Examples of Expressions

=Date Part("yyyy", 25-Dec-2006) 2006 (the year)
          = Date Part("m", 25-Dec-2006) 12 (the month)

="PN"&[PartNumber]
          Adds PN to the beginning of each specified part number

=[UnitPrice]*[Quantity]
          Calculates the product of UnitPrice and Quantity

=Format([Zip Code], "@@@@@-@@@@")
          Formats Zip Code to Nine digit format
